This is particularly true for diamond engagement rings and bracelets since we use our hands in so many ways each day. 

But fret not - like all great things in life, showing just a little love goes a long way!

How to care for handmade diamond jewellery

All our diamond jewellery is delicate and intricately handmade with a lot of love and care, so we hope you’ll do the same. Here are some simple ways to show your jewellery some well-deserved TLC:

• Keep away from Water: We’ve said diamond jewellery doesn’t float, but it’s also a bad idea to keep your jewellery in contact with water for too long. This includes showers, long baths, sweat sessions at the gym and swimming!
  
• Avoid Exposure: This applies to all chemicals (including hairspray, lotions and perfume) as this could cause discolouration to the metal or the stone.
  
• Wipe Clean: All precious metals, in general, will be subject to wear over time and may require polishing work to keep its shine. A light clean with a polishing cloth to wipe away dirt will make all the difference in the long run.
  
• Store separately: Diamonds may be the toughest stone, but it can also turn on itself (think a pair of diamond earrings against each other!). Store your jewellery in our lined jewellery box, or separately in tiny zip-lock bags to protect them.
